Once again, in light of the ongoing virus situation, this will be a virtual event. Funko had this to say about the upcoming con: "Though we are not yet able to come together in the convention center, Funko brings Funatics another Funko Virtual Con celebration! As always, we want to keep the convention spirit alive so we will be bringing you Emerald City Comic Con® virtually with Funko's fifth virtual con! Funko Virtual Con Spring 2021 will take place March 1st, 2021 – March 5th, 2021! The week will be filled with giveaways, special guests, and more!"

It will be interesting to see what the company has in store for the first of this year's official Comic Con exclusives. After a year of disappointing cancellations on face-to-face socialising, including many beloved conventions, fans are eager for a pick-me-up. Hopefully this virtual event will have some great exclusives!
