7 years have passed since the FFTCG “Opus series” made its way to the West, enabling players to experience one of the best card games and build a community like no other.

In 2024, FFTCG will be back stronger than ever with Hidden Hope, our brand new expansion introducing a groundbreaking new system: -Limit Break - .

Limit Break will reshape the FFTCG strategic landscape as players know it with the incorporation of playable cards outside of their main deck, offering a new array of collectible cards and setting the stage for continuous innovation in future sets.

Hidden Hope will also mark a historic moment in FFTCG as the coveted Special Card, a rare foil -stamped full art takes it to the next level with a specially commissioned illustration of Sephiroth [22 -032L]!

Furthermore, we're excited to include Legacy Cards in this booster expansion once again. These are Full Art Foil renditions of legendary cards, cherished for both their artwork and gameplay impact. The three Legacy Cards featured in this set are: Fat Chocobo [ 4 -064L], Chaos [16 -129L], and Sephiroth [18 -116L]. Notably, these Special and Legacy Cards aren't just collectibles; they are eligible for use in official tournaments, akin to regular cards!

Lastly and to top this off, players who purchase a sealed Booster display box (36 packs) will find an exclusive treat inside: one Full Art Premium Foil card of Kurasame [PR -159/22 -024], included as the Buy - a -Box Promo card (please note that the final card is subject to change).

Final Fantasy Trading Card Game Opus XXIV - Hidden Legends

Following “Hidden Hope” and “Hidden Trials,” we are proud to bring our latest FFTCG trilogy to a climactic end with “Hidden Legends”! This new set introduces cards from the highly acclaimed FINAL FANTASY XVI and a new “Priming” mechanic.

It also pushes the boundaries of the Limit Break system even further with multi-element Limit Break Cards, offering players endless strategic possibilities. Collectors can rejoice as we are once again including a very rare autographed card in the form of FINAL FANTASY XVI’s main protagonist Clive [24-005L].

This card will be foil-stamped with the signature of illustrator Kazuya Takahashi, who created the key art used for this set/card. Players purchasing sealed displays will obtain a copy of Ifrit (XVI) [24-001L] which makes a blazing entrance as our new Buy-a-Box Promo.

Furthermore, we have brought back the ever-popular Legacy Cards, which are full-art versions of previous Legend cards. In this set, we will be including Minfilia [6-079L], Akstar [18-107L], and Unei [19-119L]. In addition to being highly sought after, both Special cards and Legacy cards can be used in official tournaments, just like normal cards!

Final Fantasy Trading Card Game Opus XXIII - Hidden Trials

Continuing its 7th consecutive year celebration, FFTCG will be back better than ever this summer with Hidden Trials, a brand new Opus that will push the boundaries even further!

The Limit Break system can significantly turn the tides of battle with custom-themed cards enabling players to experience a true revolution, right from the deck-building phase.

For the collectors, the set will once again include a very rare, Special Card [23-037R] showcasing the beloved Lightning from FINAL FANTASY XIII in a stunning original artwork. Artist Yamashita-san’s autograph will also be foil-printed on the card.

Hidden Trials will see the return of the ever-popular Legacy Cards in the form of three Legends from past releases: Lightning [15-041L], Rydia [15-083L], and Refia [19-102L]. Players purchasing sealed displays will also be rewarded with a box-topper card (details TBC).

Final Fantasy Trading Card Game XXVIII - Journey of Discovery (Display of 18 Boosters)

All Limit Break cards included in this booster packa key element for multifaceted strategieswill be multi-element, providing a wide range of options for LB decks. Journey of Discovery will significantly expand the possibilities for both deck construction and strategic play.

This set will also come with 28 newly illustrated cards centered around characters from FINAL FANTASY VIII. Also included as an extremely rare Special card is Terra [27-014H], showcasing a brand-new illustration Fumio Minagawa, and featuring his signature foil-stamped on a card for the first time.
