Just a few moments ago, the Alliance patrol was proceeding peacefully. Today, chaos and violence reign. The patrol was making routine rounds 205 nautical miles from Oiapoque Bay, which marks the border with SUSA and the Union of Federated States.
Just two days ago, this stretch of sea was devoid of any points of interest. Today, there's a Farpoint Sentry platform. The Union had managed to set it up with remarkable speed. Although technically remote enough not to breach treaties, Alliance Commodore Saulo Rezende saw it as an insult. With no visible reinforcements, he decided to make a name for himself by seizing the platform.
Had his crew spotted the shapes growing on the horizon, COMO Rezende might have decided against it. Cheyanne's hunter submarines surfaced and launched torpedoes against the now outnumbered patrol. The rotors of the Akron Sentinel hover in the sky, hidden by the glare of the midday sun.
Even more terrifying, a pair of John Henry Vitruvian Colossi swooped in and smashed frigates and cruisers with great hammers that wiped out whole sections of one ship at a time, sending the men to their watery graves before they could realize what was happening. The last thing on Commodore Saulo Rezende's mind was the cleverness of the trap that had killed him. That, and the crews he had led to their doom."
